Newbie finds T. E. somewhat erratic

I’m developing and donating a website to LEAVEN, an Appleton WI nonprofit. I have Timeline Express Pro and have made my first timeline with it — a vertical one. At link above. I don’t expect Timeline Express Pro (or other software) to be perfect, so what I’m hoping to do is learn its eccentricities and how to work within them. For example, the announcements in my maiden effort don’t always alternate left and right. And edits to an announcement sometime take a while before they are recognized in the timeline. And if I wish to crop or change the size of an image, do I do that in Photoshop, and import a revised version?

I would love to be told about flaws in my first effort. And will be glad to provide any requested information. I’m working in Windows 10 with everything up to date. 16 gigs of RAM. Chuck M
