    Hi,
There are multiple topics in this regard of Jetpack Protect feature to block the login attempts but I’m facing the issue on a daily basis. I’ve the following setup:

    • Hosting from Hostgator.in
    • Domain name from znetlive.com
    • DNS changed on domain name to point to hosting server

When I’m trying to login wp-login on blog.avxio.com, then I’m facing the below error message:
Your IP address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX has been flagged for potential security violations. You can unlock your login by sending yourself a special link via email

The IP is actually the IP of the hosting server itself. Jetpack is probably not able to detect the requestor and considers the hosting server as the IP address thereby causing a loop of locking itself out instead of the attacker.

  • @samdlaw

This was caused by a conflict between your server configuration and our Protect service. We have made some changes on our end, so you should be able to log back in to your site within an hour. Let us know if you still run into any problems, and thank you for your patience.
