Error Uploading Images

  • Hello all,

    I’m very new to blogging, and been put into it at the deep end. But lucky WordPress is fairly easy. However,

    I am trying to upload an image to a blog. But when i upload from “My Computer” and from “Library” i get an error up on the screen. It states:

    “Unable to create directory D:\Inetpub\dev2_emarket2_com\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

    Would this be an issue with my server access writes or would this be an error with the WordPress coding?

    I can upload photos which are from a URL (Uploaded to the webserver)

    If anyone can help i would be highly thankful.

  • I am having this problem also. I have never had this problem until today. What’s different is that I just transferred my hosting from Hostgator to another hosting service.

    If anyone has helped with this issue, please respond, thank you.
