I tried using the “Import Meetup Events” plugin to import all my meetup group’s events into Events Manager. It didn’t really work though. When I clicked on “events,” it would show a number of events next to “all” and “published,” but it didn’t give me any way to see the events in a list. I ended up adding them manually in Events Manager (as a recurring event), which was fine, so I deleted the Import Meetup Events plugin.

My problem is that now when I try to use the calendar widget that comes with Events Manager (which I really want to be able to use!) it is showing all the meetup events. But when you click them, it says they don’t exist (because they are nowhere else to be found besides in the calendar widget). I want to delete them off my site altogether. Is there a way to do this? I tried uninstalling Events Manager, but when I re-installed it, it had saved all my data. (Normally awesome – but I really want to get rid of this half-done meetup integration).

Thank you in advance for any insight into how I can fix this!

  • Hello,

You would probably need to contact the owner of Import Meetup Events as they are the one who handles the import plugin.
