Adding time and date picker to cart page

Could I ask what this is for? I assume it needs to tie into something like local pickup or perhaps it’s something else like a bookable product?

Basically my employer wants to add a calendar of some sort into the cart. This would only function as a shipping information for people that run the shop.

@kyonv2 It would be best to use an existing plugin for this. Not only would the information need to be on the checkout page, but it would need to be saved to the order and viewable to both the admins and the customers, so there’s a bit of work to go into it.
