Jenky and difficult

  • I was unable to get this plugin working. The UI is pretty jenky, and whenever I try to save a marker I receive the error “Geocode was not successful for the following reason: fail”. I confirmed all of the required Google APIs were enabled for this plugin. I found a few similar cases in the wordpress support forums with potential fixes, none of which worked.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us, sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues here.

    This error usually happens when you have created an API key but not enabled the relevant APIs.

    Can you please go to your Google API dashboard here: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/dashboard and make sure the “Geocoding” API is enabled.

    I’m quite confident this will solve the problem but please let us know the result in any case?

    as I mentioned in my comment all APIs are enabled, including Geocoding. Due to time pressures I’ve had to move to an alternate plugin, but thanks for your response.

    Can anybody experiencing this issue even having enabled all APIs please open your developer console (F12) and in the network panel please paste the raw response from Google?

    If I could request, if permissible, that anyone unsure how to do this could please open a ticket at https://wpgmaps.com/wp-admin and provide your login details?
