    Hello,

I seem to have run into an issue upon activation. It’s as if the plugin only “partially” completed its process.

    What changed:
    – HTTPS pages are now canonical
    – Internal links all go to HTTPS pages
    – WordPress Admin/Dashboard is loading over HTTPS
    – Google is detecting new posts on their HTTPS pages
    – I can see at least some changes to htaccess
    – WordPress settings (site address, etc) are all updated to HTTPS

    What didn’t change:
    – It doesn’t actually seem to be “redirecting” old links. So if I type in my domain name or click an old link on Twitter, I’m still getting the HTTP version.
    – Old Google links are not redirecting. So if I click a Google link from yesterday, it takes me to the HTTP page.
    – I’m still getting the “are you ready to activate” prompt in WordPress. And the plugin setting page says that it hasn’t been activated yet.

I’m worried about hitting activate again since it clearly was activated to some degree. So I’m not sure how to do handle

I would recommend to click the “activate SSL” button again, but this time with the checkbox “flush rewrite rules” disabled. This usually resolves any conflict that might occur on activation.

Activating should solve your other issues as well.

That won’t cause a conflict with the changes that have already been made?

No, that’s not a problem. If the changes are made, nothing will change. If the changes already were made, it will now complete.

This appears to have worked, thanks.
