How to disable Path rewriting?

    Is it possible to disable Path rewriting? In my case paths already hidden via WordPress itself by adding in wp-config.php

    define( 'WP_CONTENT_DIR', dirname(__FILE__) . '/assets' ); 
define( 'WP_CONTENT_URL', 'https://url/assets' );
define( 'UPLOADS', 'assets/uploads' );
