• I have just updated from version 1 to 2.0.17.

When users register and enter in their details, all data seems to store correctly into the database, however the password field seems to not be storing user data properly. Because when the form submits, form data is inserted into the database, but when users try to login, it says their password is incorrect.

I have tested with disabling all other addons/plugins and I still haven’t had any luck in solving this issue. The only solution is that once they register, they have to immediately click on “forgot password” and the new password they choose, will work.

Would anyone know how to solve this issue?

    Hi @daniel13,

Do you have any security plugins installed on your site?
This can be also caused by your server settings.
Can you please check developers console of your browser and see if you have any errors there?

    Regards.

    Hi,

I have checked the errors from console and there only seems to be one, it is as follows:
    * This page includes a password or credit card input in a non-secure context. A warning has been added to the URL bar. For more information, see https://goo.gl/zmWq3m.

As for the plugins I have tried with all plugins deactivated and I still hit the same problem.

What server settings do you think could conflict in causing this issue? I will try to see if I can test and resolve them.
