How to get rid of Spam-comments?

Same problem here. I have comment authorisation switched on but I want to delete them all before they arrive – and WPBlackList doesn’t seem to work.

Otherwise search for comment spam using the search feature and clicking on the Google link at the bottom of the page. It’s the forum hot-topic with tons of posts over the last week – far too many to list here ??

My word filter’s been catching all the stuff I’ve been getting from this guy. I’ve also got the number of links set at 1 which helps too.
It’s annoying because it’s filling up my moderation queue, but at least it’s not getting posted.

I’ve just installed Gudlyf’s WordPress Hack which seems to do the trick, as it requires users to input a numeric code. Looks like it works perfectly.
