IP – update siteurl ?

  • hi guys…
    im currently running wordpress on a testserver with dynamic ip, when it restarted it got a new ip, now when i do to https://IP – itdoes show the site, but no css etc. So i think everything is still linked to the old ip. I looked around and noticed that CSS and allot of thing are linked with ‘php echo get_settings (‘siteurl’)
    now, my question is, does it update automaticly to the new ip, or do i have to config it? or. .. ?
    help pls asap.. tnx ??

  • if you have phpmyadmin you should be able to log into it, and then navigate to wp_options….once you get there, you’ll be looking to change the site_url and home_url locations. The first one you can find easily…the second one you may have to search for and once you find them, update them to your current IP (you’re just telling WP to redirect everything to this new address). That should clear it up…if you have any other questions, let me know.
