I have PMpro and Stripe built into our WordPress site. We have a membership program for our subscribers and for some reason memberships are being cancelled without the member doing so. I’ve contacted each member whose membership is marked as “cancelled” and all have confirmed that they did not cancel their membership. This is causing problems with how users access our site and obviously removes the automatic renewal payment. They’re showing as cancelled on our users page of WordPress and on Stripe.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any tips on resolving this?

    Hi Audrey,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro, I’m really sorry for the issue you are facing here.

Would you mind showing me the membership level settings in question? Does your recurring membership have an expiration date?

    Hi @andrewza,

I’m unable to upload an image of the membership level settings however they appear as such:

ID NAME BILLING DETAILS EXPIRATION ALLOW SIGN UPS

1 SALT LAKE MAGAZINE SUB $24.95/YR — YES

It’s only occurring with this level of membership, no expiration date is selected. I was able to edit each member and change the status to success via their “code” in the orders page of memberships. This change reflected in Stripe as well. This is a fine solution for the time being but I still can’t figure out why the memberships are randomly cancelling.
