    I just updated my site to the latest Simple SSL and suddenly I can’t access any of its pages. Google reports the site as insecure and I can’t even access the WordPress dashboard.

    Here’s the rest of what Google says:
    “Your connection is not private
    Attackers might be trying to steal your information from manapottery.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

    Automatically send some system information and page content to Google to help detect dangerous apps and sites. Privacy policy”

    Please tell me: HOW CAN I REVERT TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION of the SIMPLE SSL PLUGIN?

    I figured it out – this was not an SIMPLE SSL issue at all!

    I contacted my host and it turned out that my Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate had expired. There’s some kind of issue with this happening without warning that SIteGround is urging Let’s Encrypt to fix.

    (The irony is that the SSL certificate expired JUST after I updated my plugins – so that was the first thing I suspected of course.)

    Please feel free to mark this as resolved.

    ANYWAY, so so sorry for the false alarm.

    Simple SSL works great!

    Dag!
    Susan
