How to add an “Expires headers”?

I’m using this plugin to add additional CSS Code to my theme. I did run a test with GTmetrix on performance, which “complaint” there is a static components without a far-future “expiration date”. Can this be fixed, to add an “expiration header” as part of the plugin – or give instructions how to setup nginx server?
