    Hi, firstly can i say fantastic and easy to use plugin!!!

    I ran my website through cookiebot and it says my site is not GDPR compliant because the cookies are not PRIOR CONSENT, ie, they should not be loaded until the cookies are accepted, but just paused. I’m no GDPR guru, but looking across other GDPR sites, it states to be compliant certain cookies, ie, google analytics cookies should not be loaded until the cookies are accepted, ie, PRIOR CONSENT. Does this plugin do this or am i missing something as my sites where i have used this plugin load all the cookies before i accept them?

  • Hi,

    Yes, you can add the scripts for Google analytics etc into a blocking feature/area.
    You need to remove those scripts from the other places you added them normally.

    After that, all those scripts you added, will be blocked, until a visitor hits ” ok” button.
