    Hi Hector Cabrera,
I am using your plugin WordPress popular posts having version 4.0.1, just recently I updated it to latest one and found that after sometime automatically it’s making my server down. seems like any process eating CPU speed. I tried to check it using comparing both versions, but almost all files have differences.

Can you please help me to solve this issue.

    Thank you.

    Hi @jayeshma,

“My server is down sometimes” doesn’t really tell me anything, I’m going to need more details from you so I can help. What exactly do you mean with that? Are you seeing any warning/error messages in your server’s log?

    Also, please:

    • Share your site’s URL.
    • Go to Settings > WordPress Popular Posts, append &tab=debug to the URL in the address bar of your browser and hit Enter, then share the information displayed on the Debug screen.
    • How many visits does your site get per day in average?

    Hi Hector,
As I am new to WordPress I couldn’t provide you enough information, Sorry for that.
What I got to know from log is “SELECT p.ID AS id, p.post_title AS title, p.post_author AS uid FROM wp_2_popularpostssummary” this query is causing to issue.

I will provide you more information, URL I can not share because it is accessible from the network only.

That’s still too little information to understand what’s going on. I need some more details, the query alone doesn’t tell me much.
