How to cleanup after plugin uninstall/delete
-
Hi, I no longer need Updraft and so deactivated and then deleted the plugin without realising that I should have ‘Wiped Settings’ and deleted backups prior to deleting the plugin from my site. (Reference https://updraftplus.com/frequently-asked-questions/ “Does UpdraftPlus delete all its settings when it is de-installed? (And, how can I?)” ).
So now I have deleted the plugin from my website, but have an ‘updraft’ folder remaining in my content/ folder (this site has renamed wp-content/ to content/). Within the updraft folder is an emptydir folder, an .htaccess file, 3 backup zip files, a log file, index.html file and a web.config file. Is it safe to delete ‘updraft’ folder and these files?
Running WP 4.9.6
Thanks
Nicola
