When I need the splash screen and when the compact mode?

    If you use external services or external files on the home page of your website you need the splash screen, because you must ask the user before these external services or files are loading. This is usually the case when using Google Analytics.

    If you use external services and files on other pages as your home page the compact mode is the better choice.

    Other external files e.g. Google Fonts or jQuery from CDN can be changed to load from local. Then you need absolutely no notice.
