Customising WooCommerce Single Product Page

@jack1121 – A visual editor won’t give you the ability to edit this as each product is rendered using a template file – they aren’t each their own page.

There are a ton of tutorials on how to accomplish this but here’s a couple:

I see, makes sense. So I’d be editing the template file rather than each specific page.

Are there any options for editing the template file that are more forgiving for people who can’t code? I watched the video and it seems there is a lot of steps. I’m not sure I could make the page look exactly as I want it using that method.

@jack1121 – your other option would be to create custom pages and add products using shortcodes.

Hi Thomas, i suspect this second option will also work with somekind of redirection?
i mean from shop menu -> product redirected to a custom page correct?

I have had so much trouble getting a dev to make a new layout for the product page so I’d also be very interested in hearing about another method!

Are there any alternatives to Woocommerce? I’ve found them unhelpful.

@jack1121 – There are plenty of devs that know how to tweak a product page or WC if you look in the right pages. Just don’t look on Craigslist or expect things for $20 a pop.

What we used is this plugin to fully customize each Product’s page:

You can also have different designs for each product page and not the same structure to every one and quite simple to use.
