Failure to login to WordPress

At login receive message “invalid email address Lost your password followed by please enter username or email address. You will receive a link”
The email could not be sent. Possible reason your host may have disabled the mail() function.
Finally “Error. there is no user registered with that email address”

What can I do to resolve this problem?
