duplicate images from categories

    I have multiple galleries with various categories. My problem is that when the page loads, it loads all the categories including duplicates of images that are found in multiple gallery categories.
    When the page loads all images are displayed from all categories. Can the initial load of the gallery be modified so it only displays the top-level category, so duplicate images are not included?
    For example, I have a photo that is in the “Black” category and the “16×28” category. Both images load when the page is refreshed or initially loaded. I really need it to just show one. Thank you!

    Actually gallery do not detect which exactly images published. If you upload few the same images in gallery category and sub category you’ll see all this copies on gallery page. If you wish to split this images try to make sorting of the pictures or delete duplicated pictures.
