    For some reason when on mobile the logo is not displaying properly. I am not sure if it’s a responsive issue or has to deal with my recent switch of themes.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Howdy mate, I would suggest to upload logo in double pixel size than your current logo 300x120px – then it will look good also on mobile devices..

    Hi, I’ve doubled and then further increased the size of the image, however all it does is just make it clearer. It doesn’t make the whole image appear on mobile. As if it is being told to zoom in.

    Hi, @reckgear – oh yes you are right, my bad as I did not refresh your website in mobile view – the issue is, we use “large” thumbnail of your logo on mobile phone devices (full on desktops) – but your logo renders cropped in 1024×1024 like this: https://reckgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/website-large-1024×1024.png which is messed up as the original logo is https://reckgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/website-large.png ..

    Maybe try to upload the logo again to your library, or check your “large” settings for images in your library..

    Howdy,
    Ok, I see exactly what you are talking about. I never noticed this because I never had this issue before. Wehn I uploaded previously it just worked. As I am looking around to fix this, what do people normally have the media-large set to? I see that it is 1024×1024. As I said before, I’ve never had an issue with my media and I have never gone into these settings before, so I am not sure if these changed or something else happened.

    1024×1024 is default value so it should be fine – weird thing is – why it crops your image logo but does not keep correct aspect ratio – maybe try different Theme and upload the image again ( ideally some WordPress default Theme ). Sometimes Theme`s authors like to mess up with the thumbnail image values ??

    Ok, I will talk with Artbees and see if they can work on this. I figured it may be something with the Jupiter Theme.

    Thanks for the replies. Keep up the good stuff!!

    Hey, I have regenerated the thumbnails after speaking with the theme developers, but it is still cropping out the majority of the image. I also noticed when on the media specific regeneration page that it says this “The attachment says it also has these thumbnail sizes but they are no longer in use by WordPress.” is that of concern considering the CMP plugin uses the large image?

    Actually, I deleted all the old pictures from the media folder and readded it. All is good now.

    My only question is, does the Colour overlay affect the mobile like the desktop? it seems like it only affects the desktop. On mobile, when I reload the page, I notice a black overlay appear for a second and then disappear. Is it because of the video setting?

    Hey mate, so it is finally resolved – perfect – I am happy it is not our plugin related ??

    Regarding the overlay – I tested it on mobile devices (both android and ios) and overlay works as expected. – you can easily test it by setting Overlay Opacity to 1 – you should see black color in your case as a background..

    Hope it helps, Alex

    Ah, didn’t think to try it at 1.0. It works on desktop, but it still does the same on mobile. I cleared the history and data on my phone to no avail, I’ve uploaded the issue to my twitter https://twitter.com/i/status/1004449223838818305. It’ll briefly show, and then disappear and show the image

    It works as expected on Android – what browser are u using?

    Could you check https://niteothemes.com/dev/?cmp_preview=true my development server, where I added Youtube Video, thumbnail image for mobile and full black background what you see?

    Also, you can try add custom CSS to CMP settings:

    .background-overlay {
        z-index: 10;
    }

    it might help.

    thanks Alex!

    Hey Alex,
    Thanks for the code. That ended up fixing it. Even on your development server site, I can still see the “hello world” blog page. Not sure what the issue is, but I am using safari on iOS.
    For now I’ll just adjust the css value to adjust the overlay on mobile. I haven’t checked the desktop site as yet though to see its impact.

    Yeah, I reseted developepment database meanwhile, so I guess CMP got disabled, ouch ??

    Anyway, thanks for confirmation, I will include this CSS in the next Countdown update to make sure it is OK!

    thanks Alex
