Preload Cache Working and Clearing On Its Own

For some reason when I run preload and check the cache folder all seems to be working fine i.e cache files are truly being created on the server BUT once the preload process is complete, it’s like the system automatically deletes all the cached files and I’m back to square one again with no preloaded cache files.

Is anyone else having this same problem? Thanks
