parse error

  • After update all plugins I get this error
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in C:\domains\begravenintilburg.nl\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\yop-poll\admin\inc\Helper.php on line 10

    Now I canoot vitit the page or login or going to thesttings page I only see this error.

    Certain plugins and its code might be compatible with latest PHP version only.

    Have checked and the error that you are having is an incompatibility with PHP version 5.X

    WordPress Requirements state that to run WordPress system config should be
    PHP version 7.X
    MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater
    HTTPS support

    As soon as you upgrade to PHP 5.6 or higher you will not have the issue.

    You can request your host to upgrade your servers PHP version
