Translation of “Continue Reading” not displayed

Hi,

First, excuse my poor English!

I installed WordPress and setup it to use French.

Almost everything is displayed in french. But, in the non-static page, where my articles are displayed, the expression “Continue Reading” appears instead of “Lisez la suite”, the french translation which is in the fr_FR.po (fr_FR.mo).

How can I have the translation? Is it because I have to set up something for using the translation with the articles? Is it because it is a problem of thema? Is it because I ought to use another language file, a file specific to French Canada, where I work? By the way, I was disappointed to have to choose Toronto in the setting for the hour because Montreal is not in the list (Montreal is the second town of Canada, ahead of Vancouver, Winnipeg, Moncton, Yellowknife, Iqaluit, …).
