We must be able to easily identify non-responsive subscribers.

MailPoet 2 had a very useful feature that easily showed me every subscriber who has not open or clicked recently. This feature must return to the free version. Its critical not to send messages to those that are lethargic. It affects our reputation, and in the case of those that use your service, your reputation.

Deliverability always boils down to this: increase worthwhile engagement. The tactics change (segment your list, personalize your content, send less), but the goal is always the same: increase engagement with your active recipients to improve your reputation with ISPs. After all, reaching the inbox is half the battle. If they don’t engage with our message, what good is sending it? It’s wasteful, counter-productive and potentially dangerous to our standing.

Please make it easier to improve reputation by allowing MailPoet to effectively identify our least engaged recipients — as it did before — those that have been receiving emails from us but who have not opened or clicked on anything in the past three to six months.

    Please?

  • Hi, there @robertburr,

We are looking into various ways of improving the functionality of segmenting subscribers. Segmentation is a premium only feature but does include a way to create segments of subscribers who haven’t interacted with specific Newsletters etc and we’re looking at expanding on that overall functionality.

    Thanks!

When you offered us an upgrade from v2 to v3, it was supposed to offer more and better options and features, not less basic features. Identifying non-responsive subscribers is a basic need, not a luxury option. Stop taking away basic functions in upgraded versions of the plugin. Put back all the basic features you took away from your users. Add new improved features to add value, but don’t take away the basics.
