    Hello,
It looks like a bot is hammering my website and they are sending views on my blog. I cannot find any information on the IP address of this domain.

How can I blacklist a domain instead of an IP address?

Or is there a way I can find out what IP address this domain is coming from?

    Thanks!
    Sara

Hi Sara, do you have Internet Bots enabled under Firewall tab?

and they are sending views on my blog.

Are you saying they are writing comments in your blog. Is that what you mean?

    Hello!

Thanks for your reply. They are not writing comments. I am gettings thousands of fake page views every day from several IP addresses, referred by a specific domain that doesn’t seem to be registered to anyone.

I have now blocked this domain from registering page views in google analytics, but I am worried they could overload my website with too many page views at times.

I was hoping could block that domain before it reaches my website.

And no, I didn’t have Internet Bots on, as I didn’t see it. Thank you so much for pointing that out. Will this stop them?

    Kind regards,
    Sara

It will definitely help block fake bots.
