    HI!
I believe the booking form when customer enters his(her) details needs to have 3 more checkboxes, which give consent for submitting. They should be unchecked and required to be checked in. One for email, other one for the phone, and third one for the address. This is what I’m learning from the online resources:

    https://www.hallaminternet.com/how-to-make-your-website-gdpr-compliant/

    see the “3. Granular Opt-In”

For the rest there are other plugins

I’m already working on the GDPR support. With the next update, reservation data can be exported/erased using the core WP privacy tools.

Regarding the checkbox, I don’t think that you need 3 checkboxes. You need granular checkboxes only when the processing has multiple purposes (https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-32/). In our case, the purpose is always the same: a way to contact the guest and process the reservation.

Also, in our booking form we don’t need a checkbox at all. Because the guest is placing an order and the data is required for processing the reservation. We just need an informative text with a link to the privacy policy. And this will be added in the next update. This is the same solution adopted by WooCommerce for example. And according to the official GDPR text this is also the correct solution (https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/).

So, in short, what you will see in the next update?

    1. All personal reservation data will be made exportable/cancellable with the native WP privacy tools.

    2. An optional informative text will be placed before the booking form button.
