Posts add categories for no reason

  • Why does wordpres adds categories every time I save an entry? It adds a new category, seemingly based on keywords or something.

    This has happened out of the blue. Other blogs I host in the MU server don’t do this.

  • Hi Jim,

    If you don’t specify a category when creating a new post then a default one is assigned. You can change what the default category is, as it can be a bit annoying when it is set to one that is nothing to do with your post topic!
