The custom attribute mappings don’t seem to save. Seems that it only saves the most recently added. v3.0.2

    Any ideas?

  • same issue here!

@stevethebartender @stefaniew thanks for using our plugin and informing us about this bug.

We have just pushed out a new version of the plugin (3.0.5) that solves the issue at hand. Just update the plugin and clear your browsers cache and all should work again.

Could you give it a try and let us know if it worked out?

Thanks again for reporting it and have a wonderful Sunday!

    All the best,
    Eva

I’m von v3.0.5 but custom attribute mappings get lost when saving. When I add 2 or more custom attribute mappings, only the last one will be saved.

    Could you please check that?

@pmike1980 did you clear your browser cache after updating the plugin to version 3.0.5 ?

    All the best,
    Eva

Hello Eva, thanks for your quick reply!

v3.0.5 was the first version I installed on my system. I tried reinstalling it, but i’m still not able to save more than 1 custom attribute.

@pmike1980 we are trying to reproduce it at our end but so far everything works fine for us.

Could you answer the following questions for us:
    – For what channel are you trying to create a feed?
    – What file format did you choose (XML, CSV, etc)?

    Thanks!
    Eva

Seems to be solved for me now…

I did a complete new install of WordPress, Woocommerce and your plugin. Now it’s working for me. So maybe i messed up something on my previous installation of Woocommerce or some other plugin. Thank you so much for your help!

Great to hear that it seems to work now! Thanks @stefaniew and @pmike1980 for reporting back to us.

I will close this issue now. Please reach out in-case there are more questions.

    Have a wonderful week,
    Eva

    Hi Eva

I’m a little slow on this one – I’ve installed the latest version, cleared cache yet still have the issue… ??

Thought it was going to be fixed so made a feed with a tonne of fields and then lost it all :'(

    Hi Steve,

Sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues withe our plugin. So, you are still having issues with the custom attributes not saving?

Could you show us a screenshot of the custom attributes you are trying to add so we can try replicating the issue you are experiencing?

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hi Eva

Better yet, I’ve got a video trying to create a feed =)

    Cheers,
    Steve

It requires Flash, which by many is not considered to be very save. At least I don’t have it on my laptop ??

Can you show me some screenshots instead?

    Thx
    Eva

Sure, will grab some screens momentarily..

I tried to add a new custom field and get the following error too:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/BYbGFcxH

The new custom field was “product-id”…it’s strange as the hyphen has worked previously in other feeds…

    Hi Eva

I’ve gone to replicate and the issue and it worked fine.. but for the first time, actually ready this notice on the Field Mappings page:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/c8Ctepyl

Are these still required even with a custom feed? I haven’t read that previously and always deleted all the existing fields – could this be causing the issue?

    Cheers,
    Steve
