Insert comment number before each comment author name

  • I think the easiest way is to use CSS list-style:decimal if you’re using the standard list elements for displaying comments…

    Of course the numbers will always start at one for each page of comments…

    If you need something a bit fancier you’ll need some custom PHP…

    This was really easy to do before wp_list_comments()
