Unable to Connect via sFTP

    I built a new site on my dev server which is hosted by Dreamhost and am trying to migrate it to the live host on GoDaddy, but I am only given the option of connecting via sFTP which doesn’t work. The login I have is standard FTP and works fine in my FTP client, but Migrate Guru won’t accept it – is there a way to allow for standard FTP connections?

  • We only support sFTP migrations to GoDaddy. However, there is an option of using the generic FTP migration option too.
    To debug the issue further please raise a ticket on our support page here. It would make things easier if you could provide your FTP details.
