Hi, I’m using Polylang to have multilingual site. I see the plugin is only in one language, is it not suitable for Polylang? Do I have to add manully string for translation?

Do I simply have add strings in polylang?

    Thanks

  • It works nice with Polylang – I have installed it on two multilingual sites with no issues. Just change language in the menu bar at the top in WP and setup GDPR plugin for every language – it changes between languages automatically.

Hi, for me is not working :/

I have tried also to change text directly in the plugin, but the text remains in english, so strange.

Are you changing the language when you edit the text? You have to change language at the top banner inside WordPress…then you should be able to shift between the setup for each language inside the plugin settings..

So, do I have to put all three languages in every text field?

I have had changed english with italian, but on front end I was seeing always english

I’m sorry, now I’ve understand waht you’ve said. I have switched languages and now translation works correctly.

    Thank you

This was mentioned in the help: “You have to change language at the top banner inside WordPress”, but my WordPress (GoDaddy) doesn’t have a language option in the top menu. Any idea where it might be?

@jorge-g Language in the top admin bar of WordPress is an options only for polylang (maybe of another language plugins). Do you have a translation plugin installed?

Hi, I don’t have Polylang nor any language plugin. I entered the translations manually and it works fine in Desktop but in Mobile they continue to display in English.

For me it works also on mobile devices without any translation plugin. I don’t know why for you it’s not working, maybe for a problem of cache? @moxtell any idea?

    Hi there,

Thanks for your comments. I can confirm the plugin is compatible with Polylang plugin, you just have to select the language in the admin area. It works fine with WMPL, Polylang and qTranslate X plugins.

The same content is displayed on mobile and on desktop as well, please try to purge all the caches and should be fine.

I hope this works. I’m going to close this ticket, let me know if you have any questions.
