    Hello,

I can not find anywhere the option to enable email notification to students. I can only send them to author.

Is that possible to send those emails to students or really not?

    Thank you,
    Natasha

  • @0rbita,

It depends on the notification. There are some notifications which do not send to the student. An example is a lesson completion notification.

WHY? Because the student sees an onscreen notification stating they’ve completed a lesson, do they actually need an email reminding them what they just saw happen?

Probably not. We believe in protecting students from unnecessary spam like this.

So if you’re not seeing the ability to send an email notification you’re not seeing it because it’s not an option — it’s not because LifterLMS is broken or because it’s hidden somewhere.

    Hello,

Oh, ok, I understand that. I was thinking it could be missing…
    Thank you for clarification.

    Thanks

I have also the same problem. Whenever student enrolls in any course or membership they didn’t get any Welcome Mail as per notification setting of LifterLMS plugin. I have setup Student Welcome email at notification setting area but it didn’t work.

No emails will be sent to the students, not in spam as well.

    Please help to fix it.

    Thanks
    Mitchel

    Hello,

I have similar question – when the enrollment is done by student it is OK to not send the e-mail, but when I enroll student manualy in Course editor, it would be great to send the information to the student.

Could you, please, consider this option?

    Thank you.

    @jansmidcze,

That makes sense… I’ve noted this as someone else asked about a similar scenario the other day. I’ll work on building this as an option during manual enrollment.
