Marker not showing

Hi amyk,

can you please show me a link or just tell me which coordinates are you using?
And map is default USA map coming along with RVM?
Have you tried on other map if markers are showed correctly?

I tested with a new map of Switzerland and put a marker on Geneva. It works seamlessly.

I created a new USA map and added a marker on Texas and New York and they don’t show up.

nice the drop down effect, was easy and just doen via css, really good!
I think I’ll insert in next RVM version!

Coming back to your issue, basically you used positive latitude instead of negative ones.

I.e.: New York is :

Latitude : 40.6971494
Longitude: -74.2598655

and so on.
It’s not the first time some people from America use positive numbres instead of negatives, and I’m wondering why ??

Such a silly mistake — and I copied the lat long from Google.

I’m glad you like the drop shadow. It is nice to have each subdivision pop a little on mouse over.
