Bank transfer part payment records

    hello,

    we offer our customers a bank transfer (offline payment) options.

    our customers will often pay the incorrect amount. for example, for a $45 item, they will pay $43

    so we then contact them and ask for to pay the remaining $2

    we would like to keep track of the payment dates and amounts in woocommerce.

    does anyone know how this could be achieved in wordpress?

    Hi there!

    The only thing that immediately comes to mind is to use the Order Notes functionality that’s available for each order at WooCommerce > Orders > YOUR ORDER > Order Notes in the right hand sidebar section ??

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    We need to be able to keep track of the outstanding amount so our accounting system can pick up the remaining outstanding amount.

    i have found some extensions that can do this but with different applications.

    we may need to code our own extensions for this.
