Is it possible to create a loading message once the user clicks submit on a form (whilst the form redirects the user? i.e. “Your choices are being processed…Please wait”.

    Thanks!

  • Hi giuls22,

As the simplest way to do this, I’d recommend using our built in option to change the Submit button text. This includes not only the static “Submit” text, but the message that’s displayed while the submission is taking place (set to read “Sending…” by default).

To change this button text, you’ll need to open the form builder and go to Settings > General. There, you’ll see an option labeled Submit Button Processing Text (here’s a screenshot).

However, the submission process (time between when the user clicks submit and the confirmation appears) should generally take place fairly quickly. If this is occurring very slowly on your site, it may be worth asking your site’s hosting provider if they’d be willing to investigate the cause (for example, maybe the server is taking too long to send out the notification email and this is slowing this process).

And in case it helps, I responded to the code aspect of this question in your other post.

    I hope this helps! ??
