Scheduled posts not showing on home page?

  • Hi, I’m having an issue where my scheduled posts are being published, and I can go directly to their link, but, those posts are not showing up on the home page. If I go into the most recent published scheduled post and edit it, then hit save, they all appear on the home page. Hope it makes sense, but basically the scheduled posts do not appear on the home page.

    Ever happen to anyone else? Any suggestions here?

    Anyone? It’s strange, the scheduled posts are made, they just don’t show up on the front page.. Could it be the type of CRON I’m running?

    How long does it take for the scheduled posts to appear if you do nothing? This might be a bit obvious but could it be a server or ISP web cache issue? One of my clients has their site on a server that regularly takes 20 minutes to show a page update on a bog-standard static HTML page. I’ve also come across the odd ISP running a web cache that take 3 or 4 hours to refresh.

    Under these circumstances, doing a hard refresh via your browser does nothing as it just fetches a fresh copy of the (old) page from the server/ISP web cache.
