GDPR compliance support?

  • Hi there,

    We are using this plugin on several sites to get newsletter subscribers. With the GDPR deadline looming on the 25th of May we really ned to make our subscribe forms compliant.

    Currently there appears to be no way of adding checkboxes to agree to various compliance options required by GDPR. As such after the 25th we will no longer be able to use the subscription widget.

    My question is, when are you releasing an update to make this plugin GDPR compliant?

    To those also looking for the answer I have spoken with SendGrid support and got this less than helpful reply:

    Johnny W. (SendGrid): At this time, I do not have any information regarding the WordPress widget being updated for GDPR standards.
