This Plugin Breaks WordPress “Edit Live” Functionality

    After debugging my website, I was able to determine that this plugin was responsible for breaking WordPress Front End Editing (Edit Live). With the plugin enabled, the page will not load in the front end editor, and a blank white page is displayed. Disabling this plugin allowed me to once again use the front-end editor.

    I am still using the plugin, because it’s awesome, and the front-end editor was only needed for one simple task related to assigning dynamic links to buttons on my theme (Avada 7.7.1 Current Version), that said, it would be great if you could fix this issue.

    Hi,

    Thank you for using WP External Links! We will look into the Avada issue and if possible fix it in the next update, but in the meantime you can try going to the Exceptions tab of WPEL and uncheck All contents (the whole page) for the Apply Settings on option and leave the other 3 checked ??
