Reset Password Page – Password strength unknown

We’ve been getting a lot of complaints in the past month that customers cannot reset their password because of the error
Password strength unknownand we can only replicate the problem about 80% of the time. It seems the auto-generation of the password is not working (the password is in the HTML but it is not being displayed in the <input>) and the strength meter doesn’t load. There are no JS console errors. Any help would be appreciated. I’m not 100% sure it is even TML causing the issue but I thought you may have an idea.
