[Puremag] Problems with post images on front page

Hi, I love this theme, but I have some problems with images in posts on the front page. The problem is that they are not shown. I know about ‘Featured images’ but I do not want to use that, I want to create my own banner across the top of every news post and not s shrunken featured image in the left side.

I’ve seen other themes allowing this, so is it possible to fix? It’s the same problem if I post an audio file. I would like the player to appear on the front page, right now it does not.

Will buying the PRO version fix these things? ur
