Issues with “Guest” roles

  • Having trouble with administering “guest” role.

    Here’s the situation:

    Trying to make some of our products invisible to USER A.

    Settings on product page:

    VISIBLE: GUEST
    ADMINISTRATOR
    CUSTOMER
    INVISIBLE: USER A

    Result: products are still visible to USER A.

    Scenario 2:

    VISIBLE:
    ADMINISTRATOR
    CUSTOMER
    INVISIBLE: USER A

    Result: Success – USER A can no longer see product. However now, GUESTS also cannot see products.

    Trying to make it so GUESTS can still see products but USER A cannot see certain items (custom shopping cart/product view for this client).

    I just updated the plugin to version 1.1.8. It should be available in no time.

    Can you please try it and tell me if it’s working the way you want now?
