Only works after post update

I am creating woocommerce products through the API.
This plugin only pushes to Instagram if I open the product and hit update.
I think this may be similar to those who say it doesn’t push if you schedule the post.

Is there a way that it could do the push if the post/product is made through other means than the “add new” page?
