WP Super Cache Reactivates after Deletion

  • I have deactivated and deleted WP Super Cache but 10 minutes later I load the plugins page of my site. And an error appears saying “Headers already sent in /home/nccofc/public_html/wp-config.php on line 2.” and the plugin is listed and Reactivated. I have

    – Deleted the lines from WP-Config.php
    – Deleted the mod references from the .htaccess file
    – Deleted the Cache directory
    – Deleted the folder in the plugin directory
    – Looked for anything else to delete ?!?
    – Tried reinstalling and then Activating, deactivating

    What do I do next??
