When users are exporting events to their own personal calendars by using the Export Events button, they get the time zone we set for the calendar instead of their own time zone. For example, our events are set for 12 pm ET. So, when users export the event over to their calendar, it gets set as 12 pm wherever they’re at. Is this a known issue?

  • Hey @settleda,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We haven’t been getting reports of any sort of issue like this, and I’m unable to reproduce on our test site wpshindig.com.

First I’d check your settings in your dashboard Settings → General and make sure you have a UTC option set for timezone. We have an article that delves a bit deeper into using time zones here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/time-zones/

    Take care,
