    Hello,
First tank you for the nice plugin ??
In Attribute mapping I have mapped “g:product_type” with “Category” so they can have my store’s categories, but on xml file only very few products got the category attribute, the rest is empty.

    Empty g:product_type tags:

Empty g:product_type tags when opened on notepad:

Any idea how to fix this ?

    Edit:
It looks like only simple products get the category attribute.
If the product is variable the <g:product_type> mapped to Category is always empty.

  • @aminech,

The g:product_type field should contain the ‘breadcrumb path’ value and not the category name. You can accomplish this by mapping the g:product_type field to the ‘Category path’ attribute.

    This should solve the issue.

    All the best,
    Joris
