    I’ve activated plugin.
I’ve made my gdoc spreadsheet public on web.
I’ve posted [gdoc] shortcode with key as a link to editing spreadsheet in a page in my WordPress.

But it shows just text of shortcode. It is not processed at all.

    What am I doing wrong?
Wy nobody else faced this problem before? I am shocked.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It doesn’t sound like this is true. ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ

I hope this proves I’ve done all necessary steps.

    Plugin is activated: https://postimg.cc/image/r8dd3usef/

    Shortcode inserted: https://postimg.cc/image/osbjprxef/

Seriously, am I the only one among people who have tried tihs plugin that didn’t even see any result at all?
I get the same result as if I just literally posted link into my page/post.
What is going on? Why is this plugin not working for me?
Why am I the only one?

That all looks fine but if the issue is that WordPress is not activating the plugin’s shortcode then you are dealing with a WordPress problem (and a major one, at that), not a problem with this plugin. No one else is experiencing this problem and so you need to troubleshoot your WordPress installation. I suggest the general support forum. Good luck.

Ok, I’ll look into it. But I may be back.

Okay, but you’re not going to get a different answer than the one you already got no matter how many times you post here.

That seems like not really a user-friendly attitude.

    Plugin Author Meitar

    (@meitar)

User friendliness has nothing to do with it. You’ve got a technical problem with your WordPress install, not with this plugin. That fact is not going to change even if I put a smiley at the end of the sentence. If you don’t like my attitude, you could seek help from someone other than me. ??

You can at least not tell me how to act.
And as a supporter you shouldn’t tell me that I won’t get any help rather than what you’ve already told me. If you don’t like it you could give help to someone other than me.

?? Good idea. I’ll no longer reply to anything you post. Thanks for the advice.

    Be my guest.

I will make this “resolved” as soon as I realise that you were right about my WordPress malfunctioning or if the issue is about the plugin and I get solution here.
Please don’t change it till then.

    Yes, you were right.
The problem was about not processing shortcodes at all. In detail:
    I used get_the_content() instead of apply_filters(‘the_content’,$wp_query->post->post_content)

So, thanks for the hint. Even despite of you being a dick.

So, you caused the problem yourself, apparently. You asked for my help. You wouldn’t believe me when I gave you the correct answer, for free, from my own time, for a tool I offered for free. And then you call me a dick. I think you owe me an apology and could make the world better by reconsidering your past behavior and changing your behavior in the future.

    Thread Starter ozzy1986

    (@ozzy1986)

Why do you think I did not believe you? I literally told you that I would look into it. Which I did. And posted the results of my research in case someone else will face same problem trying your plugin.
And your attitude from the very beginning was like “well, i don’t know, it’s your problem, good luck”.

I think reconsidering past behavior is what we both could do to make the world better:)
    Good luck.

Welp, I should have just stuck to your advice of never responding to anything you post. I won’t make that mistake ever again. ??
