How to make a category look like a page??

How about a page that ‘links’ to the category?

How can I have a static front page and posts display on a page called Blog?

No i need the category in rthe category but in a page layout

You’ll want to edit this page: wp-content/themes/THEME_NAME/sidebar.php. The section of code you’re concerned with is-

<li id="categories"><?php _e('Categories:'); ?>
        <ul>
        <?php wp_list_cats(); ?>
        </ul>
</li>

Just add something in there like this-

<li id="categories"><?php _e('Categories:'); ?>
        <ul>
        <?php wp_list_cats(); ?>
        <a href='mypage.htm'>My Page</a>
        </ul>
</li>
