disappearing menu

    Hi,

    Thank you for such a great plug-in. It is doing just about everything I need!

    I have a strange behavior happening. My menu is set with a 980px breakpoint. If I resize from > 980 to < 980 (desktop to tablet/mobile version) I have the menu set have a hamburger icon and dropdown/flyout menus. If I open the hamburger and then close it and then resize the screen back to wide (>980) the horizontal menu does not reappear. If I leave the hamburger/dropdown open then widen the screen the wide/horiz menu DOES appear. If I shrink the screen and don’t open the hamburger and then widen again the horizontal menu DOES appear. It’s very strange. Basically, if I open and then close the mobile/hamburger menu and then re-widen the screen (or got to landscape on iPad) the menu disappears!

    Let me know if you have any thoughts.

    Hi jchiggins,

    Thanks for reporting this. It’s something I’ve noticed myself, and its already fixed for the next update.

    The problem happens when the mobile effect is set to “slide”, the jQuery “slideup” effect leaves a “display: none;” on the element it has just hidden. If you’d like to get the update early, you can download the development version at the bottom of this page:

    (you’ll still be asked to update to the next official version once that is released)

    Yes, I will be happy to write a review!

    I just found a strange issue with Firefox (I tested in Edge, Chrome, Opera and Safari and they were all fine).

    In Firefox (Win and Mac) the arrows in the drop down sub/flyout menus are in the wrong menu item. Look at the link below:

    In wide screen mode under Africa the arrows should appear next to South Africa, Zimbabwe etc but they appear one item below. The menu flies out in the correct place. It’s fine in mobile (hamburger) mode.

    Again it seems fine in other browsers.
